The road safety campaign
Too many people die on New Zealand roads each year. These losses place a huge toll on families, friends and our community. The cost – of emergency services, medical care, reparation and human grief – is enormous.
Together with NZ Police and New Zealanders, we’re working to reduce the number of people maimed and killed on our roads.
Campaign history
The national road safety advertising and enforcement campaign began in 1995. The campaign aimed to reduce the number of people dying or suffering injuries on New Zealand roads.

Advertising campaigns
