International visitors to the NZTA
Here at the NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) we receive a number of requests to host visits from groups based all over the world, interested in the New Zealand experience of working in the transport sector.
If you would like to enquire about making a visit, please contact us by emailing international.engagement@nzta.govt.nz or telephone +64 4 894 6387, Monday–Friday 08:30–16:30 Pacific/Auckland time.
As a guide, please consider the following when making an enquiry to visit:
- The NZTA does not host visits in the months of October to February. This is our end-of-year busy working period. It includes summer holidays in New Zealand – key staff may not be available.
- We need to receive visit requests at least eight weeks before a proposed visit.
- Visits should preferably not exceed three days.
- The recommended visiting group size is no more than 10 people. When using an interpreter, you might want to limit your group to five people.
