The government asked for public feedback on a discussion document that outlines key road safety issues, and proposed actions for addressing them.
The comments and views the Ministry receives will be used to develop the final strategy, Safer Journeys, to be released this December. This will be a guiding document for road safety, and will identify a mix of interventions for improving road safety.
