|

A stretch of State Highway 2 (SH2) near Maramarua in the Waikato will be closed for approximately three hours following a truck crash, the NZ Transport Agency says.

The road is closed to allow a crane to remove the truck from the crash site.

Detours are in place via Miranda for eastbound traffic. Westbound traffic  is being detoured via Kopuku Road.

Motorists are advised to add extra travel time to their journey or to avoid travelling in the area until the road reopens.
