To improve the Neilson Street southbound on-ramp and help accommodate the growth within the area. It will also allow safer access, off State Highway 20 from the Neilson Street off-ramp to Gloucester Park Road for all drivers.

Benefits

  • Safer merging.
  • Safer traffic movement between vehicles coming off the motorway and those turning right onto Gloucester Park Road.

Project features

  • Two through lanes in both directions.
  • A westbound Truck/T2 lane onto the southbound on-ramp.
  • Flush median strip.

This is an area where freight movements are high and access to the airport is a priority for both commercial and residential drivers.
