A new managed priority lane from the Te Atatu Peninsula will begin operating on Monday 29 June, signalling the completion of a series of improvements to the interchange at Te Atatu Road on the Northwestern Motorway.
26 Jun 2009 Beams lifted into place at Hobsonville Road
24 beams were successfully lifted into place across the span of the Hobsonville Road Bridge this month signalling another successful milestone of winter construction on the SH18 Hobsonville Deviation and SH16 Brigham Creek Extension project.

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 8pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday 26 June.

12 Jun 2009 Safety work on State Highway 58 begins next week
Next week the NZ Transport Agency will begin work to improve safety on State Highway 58 by widening the shoulder at Brady Point and carrying out tree felling.
10 Jun 2009 More lane changes for Harbour Link
A change in where Tauranga-bound traffic merges along Hewletts Rd will be put in place from early next week as part of the NZ Transport Agency's Harbour Link Project.
12 Jun 2009 Rimu Road overbridge nears completion
Two-way traffic between the Mangere Bridge Village and Mahunga Drive will resume at the beginning of July with the completion of a new Rimu Road overbridge.

11 Jun 2009 Night Closures of Hamilton's Greenwood St/Killarney Rd Intersection
The NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) advises that the State Highway 1 Greenwood St/Killarney Rd intersection in Hamilton city will be closed each week night from 7pm to 6am for three weeks between 22 June and 10 July.

Bridge strengthening work on the Kawarau River Bridge adjacent to the AJ Hackett Bungy Bridge on State Highway 6 near Queenstown has been finished about 10 days ahead of schedule.

A key milestone in the NZ Transport Agency's Newmarket Connection: Viaduct Replacement Project will be celebrated on Friday 5 June in the presence of two senior engineers who played a key role in the construction of the existing Newmarket Viaduct.
4 Jun 2009 Possible traffic delays north Of Thames
The NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) advises that a section State Highway 25, just north of Thames, will close for short periods from today to enable the removal of hazardous trees overhanging the highway near Tararu Stream Bridge.
