The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 8pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday 10 July.
2 Jul 2009 Temporary closure of St Marks Road on-ramp
The St Marks Road southbound on-ramp to the Southern Motorway (SH1) will be closed temporarily from 6am Saturday 4 July until 6pm Sunday 19 July.

The first ramp signals on the Northern Motorway will go live from Wednesday 1 July, beginning the next step north in the delivery of the NZ Transport Agency's comprehensive traffic management system for Auckland.
26 Jun 2009 Priority lane completes Te Atatu Interchange upgrade
A new managed priority lane from the Te Atatu Peninsula will begin operating on Monday 29 June, signalling the completion of a series of improvements to the interchange at Te Atatu Road on the Northwestern Motorway.
26 Jun 2009 Beams lifted into place at Hobsonville Road
24 beams were successfully lifted into place across the span of the Hobsonville Road Bridge this month signalling another successful milestone of winter construction on the SH18 Hobsonville Deviation and SH16 Brigham Creek Extension project.
