The NZ Transport Agency thanks all drivers of vehicles weighing 13 tonnes and over for their cooperation while initial strengthening work was carried out on the northbound clip-on and would like to advise the following:
- Auckland Harbour Bridge northbound clip-on lane 2 and Curran Street on-ramp will be re-opened to vehicles weighing 13 tonnes and over (this excludes overweight and permit loads) from 5.30am on 15 June 2009.
Important:
The 13 tonne+ by-law on lane 1 still remains in place 24/7.
No overweight or permit vehicles are authorised to use the clip-ons.
