About this project

The ongoing maintenance and monitoring NZTA carries out on the bridge means that the clip-ons are stronger than ever. The current improvements will ensure that this continues, even with the increasing numbers of vehicles crossing the bridge each day.

The strengthening will help to keep the bridge in good condition and will not preclude walking and cycling options currently under consideration with regional partners.
