Traffic advisories

Final OGPA surfacing will be completed in the south bound lanes this week and will continue into the northbound lanes with all surfacing and lane marking targeted for completion by Thursday 12 November.

Pavement construction is being completed at London Road, with a traffic shift planned for Friday 6 November.

Barrier construction will also be completed closing the gap between the northbound and southbound lanes at Cornish Street.  Cornish Street exit onto SH2 will also be closed.

Thursday 5 November

  • 9.00am – 7.00pm: Southbound lane closure from Maungaraki to Petone Overbridge.
  • 7.00am – 4.00pm: Northbound lane closure from Petone Overbridge to Maungaraki.
  • 8.00am – 4.00pm Stop/Go on Pito-One Road adjacent the soldier pile wall for pavement construction.

Friday 6 November

  • 9.00am – 5.00pm: Southbound lane closure from Maungaraki to Petone Overbridge.
  • 7.00am – 3.00pm: Northbound lane closure from Petone Overbridge to Maungaraki.
  • 8.00am – 4.00pm Stop/Go on Pito-One Road adjacent the soldier pile wall for pavement construction.

Saturday 7 November

  • 7.30am – 12.00pm Northbound lane closure from Priest’s Avenue to Maungaraki.
  • 7.00am – 12.00pm Stop/Go Pito-One Road adjacent the soldier pile wall.
  • Site to be monitored with maintenance carried out as necessary.

  • 7.00pm – 5.00am NIGHT WORKS: Southbound lane closure and partial ramp closures at the Dowse Interchange. (OGPA final surfacing).
  • 7.00pm – 7.00am NIGHT WORKS: Northbound lane closure Korokoro Overbridge to Maungaraki (OGPA final surfacing).

Tuesday 10 November
