As ramp signalling is introduced, Transit is actively communicating with a range of audiences to help them understand how ramp signalling works, including:
- Community briefings – City and District Councils and Community Boards
- Public Information – information stands and representatives at selected Auckland shopping malls
- Stakeholder briefings – ongoing consultation and presentations to key stakeholders
- Media briefings and media releases
- Flyers – distributed to local residents, major businesses and interested parties
- Transit website – regular updates
- Website - updates on council/transport websites
- Ramp signalling video – distributed to key stakeholders, community groups (View video)
- Advertising – print and radio
- Posters and graphics – display posters at shopping malls, local businesses and community areas
- Traffic bulletins – distributed to subscribers and the media
