Environmental policy manual

The Environmental Policy Manual houses the Environmental Plan and links to information on environmental and social impacts; such as noise, storm water and climate change as well as methods used to mitigate impacts like urban design.

NZTA’s strong commitment to achieving quality environmental and community outcomes is reflected in the publication and implementation of our Environmental Plan. The Land Transport Management Act 2003 (LTMA) requires NZTA to "exhibit a sense of social and environmental responsibility" and the Environmental Plan explains how we do this.
