Participation in land use and transport planning processes

The purpose of this document is to set out a statement of Land Transport New Zealand’s (Land Transport NZ) policy for participating in land use and transport planning processes. The document will guide LTNZ staff when reviewing draft and proposed national policy statements, national environmental standards, regional land transport strategies, regional and territorial policy statements and plans, growth strategies and other strategic planning documents, long term council community plans, plan changes and variations, applications for resource consents, notices of requirement for designations and decisions on them.
