Chapter E2 NLTP agreements
Introduction
Every three years, the NZTA will enter into an agreement with each approved organisation and with the NZTA’s Highways and Network Operations Group. These are National Land Transport Programme (NLTP) agreements that formalise the responsibilities of the parties relative to the development, implementation and management of their component of the NLTP.
Form of agreement
Schedules to the agreements will include the following:
- performance measures and targets
- conditions of funding
- the NZTA’s expectations covering such things as:
- activity management
- case management
- development of the NLTP
- regionalised Government Policy Statement (GPS) targets
- value for money
- land use.
Execution of agreements
NLTP agreements must be signed and returned to the NZTA’s regional representative by the date advised within the agreements.
