Application for Transport Service Licence

You must have a transport service licence to operate a goods service, passenger service, vehicle recovery service or rental service.

To apply for a transport service licence you need to fill out and submit the application forms below. You can also get these forms from an NZTA office (call in to your nearest office or phone them and ask them to send you one).

Take your completed application form into your nearest NZTA office or send it by post, making sure you have provided everything necessary for the application.
