SH20 Manukau Extension urban and landscape design master plan

The Landscape and Urban Design Master Plan proposes site specific treatments to infrusturcture and landscape components to signifiy this area as the Gateway to Manukau city and contribute to the series of gateway elements that punctuate the journey along SH1 to auckland. Concepts for these solutions are driven by references to the cultural make up and natural history of Manukau, including its volcanic origins. References are made to historic vegetation patterns, or the site, and to charasmatic remnants of vegetation seen in and around the Auckland region.
