Victoria Park Tunnel - Urban Design Framework

The purpose of this framework is to provide urban design for the specimen design, procurement, design & construct and asset management stages of the Victoria Park Tunnel Project (VPT).

The VPT project is a key part of the Central Motorway Improvements and the Auckland Motorway system. The project corridor extends along the existing State Highway 1 to the approaches of the Auckland Harbour Bridge. It is an area that encounters a range of urban, open space, indigenous heritage and landscape conditions, many of which are unique to the Tamaki Makaurau Auckland identity.
