Getting to Whangarei

Air

Whangarei Airport (external link) is located 8km from the central city. It is a domestic airport with daily flights to and from Auckland by Air New Zealand (external link) and Salt Air (external link), and to and from Wellington by Air New Zealand (external link). The airport is well serviced by taxi, bus and shuttle services. Rental car companies are based at the terminal and long and short term parking is available.

Road
