Some lanes of SH16 heading to the Southern, Northwestern and Northern motorways will be closed from 7.30pm until 5am to repair a damaged stormwater drain near the Newton Bridge.
To carry out this work the following motorway links and ramps will be closed:
* SH16 westbound from Stanley Street to Newton Road (including link to SH1 north)
* Wellesley Street eastbound on-ramp
* SH1 northbound to SH16 westbound link
Detours will be in place and motorists are asked to follow the signposted routes.
