NZTAs Northland programme of state highway upgrades

Upgrades continue at several locations on Northlands state highway network, and the NZ Transport Agency reminds road users of the need to be aware of some changes in highway layouts at those sites, and observe restricted speed limits for safe travel.

HEB Construction, on behalf of the NZ Transport Agency, will be temporarily closing the Papakura southbound on and off-ramp onto the Southern Motorway (SH1) over Queen's Birthday weekend, weather permitting.
Auckland overnight motorway closures 19-24 May

SH39 south of Whatawhata down to one lane due for culvert repairs this Friday

The NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) advises that a 50 metre long section of State Highway 39, seven kilometres south of Whatawhata, will be down to one lane during the day for a week from Friday (10 May), while repairs to a culvert are carried out.
