The requirements
Your Class NA vehicle must:
- meet applicable emissions standards
- be entry inspected
- be in roadworthy condition (ie be able to pass a WoF inspection or CoF inspection and not be rusty)
- be a right-hand drive - but there are some exceptions
- be manufactured to meet an approved frontal impact standard if manufactured after 1 October 2003
- be manufactured to meet other vehicle standards depending on its date of manufacture.
You'll also need to provide evidence of your vehicle's fuel consumption.
