Approved high productivity motor vehicle route maps

The NZTA has provided regional maps of HPMV routes we have approved since 1 May 2010. They have been prepared using information taken from HPMV applications received by our regional offices.

This information comes from end-to-end HPMV routes that have been approved, or where the state highway component of a route has been determined.

Important points to note when using these maps

The routes presented in these maps do not include all aspects of local roads included in the permit application. These routes only indicate the section of State highways approved for higher mass.
The approved routes represented in this map were for a particular vehicle type. Please note that depending on axle spacing and loading, individual vehicle results may differ.

The Highways and Network Operations Group will update these maps periodically, as more routes are approved. Approved routes may differ from the numbers shown in the status of HPMV application given potential delays to update this information.
