The NZ Transport Agency is consulting on the Traffic control devices manual part 5 – traffic control devices for general use – between intersections.
This document provides guidance and best practice for road controlling authorities and traffic management practitioners on the use of traffic control devices, such as signs and road marking, between intersections. Traffic control devices are used to regulate, warn and advise road users on New Zealand’s road network.
In particular, it provides specifications, form, layout and dimensions of traffic control devices which are mandated by legislation, principally Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices 2004.
Please download the feedback form and email your comments to firstname.lastname@example.org
The consultation closes at 5pm on Friday, 14 September 2018, after which a final document will be prepared and released.
The purpose of the Traffic control devices manual part 5 is to guide traffic and transport practitioners on the use and application of traffic control devices, primarily traffic signs and road markings, for general use between intersections.
