With the school holidays winding down and Anzac Day this Thursday (25 April), NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) and Police are encouraging people travelling on the roads to build in plenty of time and drive well rested.
From 7.30pm Sunday 28 April, there will be 3 weeks of overnight road closures on SH30 Te Ngae Road, between Ōwhata Road and Basley Road, to allow safety improvements to be completed. We expect this work to be finished mid-May.
