The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists that the State Highway 16 (SH16) Great North Road, East Bound onramp will be closed tonight, Tuesday, 13 June, for urgent repairs to a damaged guardrail.
Lower speeds will remain in place on the Picton to Christchurch alternate route until State Highway 1 (SH1) north of Kaikoura reopens, after which speed limits will be reviewed again.
