State highways across Waikato & Bay of Plenty region will be hives of activity this spring and summer, with Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency gearing up for the country’s largest-ever road renewal season.
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency and its project partners Manukorihi, Ngāti Rahiri, Otaraua, Pukerangiora, Puketapu Hapū, Te Kotahitanga o Te Atiawa and New Plymouth District Council, invite people to learn more about safety improvements planned for State Highway 3 between Waitara and Bell Block at a series of drop-in sessions in September.
Construction starts on a major bridge structure at Cambridge Road, between Bethlehem and Tauriko this month as part of the Takitimu North Link Stage One project, and new aerial photos show significant progress on site over recent months.
