Auckland overnight motorway closures 14-18 February

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 8pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday 19 February.

Johnstone Hill Tunnels (SH1)

  • Northbound tunnel closed and northbound traffic diverted into two way southbound tunnel 16 February (approx 4am to 6pm)
  • Southbound tunnel closed and southbound traffic diverted into two way northbound tunnel 17 February (approx 4am to 6pm)

Northern Motorway (SH1)

  • Orewa southbound on ramp 15 February
  • Southbound lanes between Oteha Valley Road on ramp and Greville Road off ramp 16 – 18 February
  • Northbound lanes between Greville Road off ramp and Oteha Valley Road on ramp 14 February
  • Upper Harbour Highway northbound off ramp 14 February (approx 9pm to 1am)
  • Upper Harbour Highway northbound on ramp 14 February (approx 9pm to 1am)
  • Upper Harbour Highway southbound off ramp 14 February (approx 1am to 5am)
  • Upper Harbour Highway southbound on ramp 14 February (approx 1am to 5am)
