Auckland overnight motorway closures 19-25 August

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 24 August.

NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)

  • Esmonde Road southbound on ramp 22 August
  • Southbound lanes between Upper Harbour Highway off ramp and Tristram Avenue on ramp 19 - 23 August
  • Upper Harbour Highway southbound on ramp 19 - 23 August
  • Oteha Valley Road southbound off ramp 20 August

CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1 & SH16)

  • (SH16) eastbound to SH1 southbound link 19 - 21 August

SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)

  • Khyber Pass Road northbound off ramp 21 August (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • Kyber Pass Road southbound on ramp 19-23 August 2012
  • Gillies Avenue southbound off ramp 21 August (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • Ellerslie-Panmure Highway southbound off ramp 19 – 23 August (approx. 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • Mt Wellington Highway southbound off ramp 20 - 21 August
  • Princes Street southbound off ramp 23 August
  • Takanini northbound on ramp 21 August
  • Papakura southbound off ramp 20 - 23 August
  • Papakura soutbound on ramp 20 – 23 August

NORTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH16)

  • Royal Road eastbound on ramp 20 – 21 August
  • Hobsonville Road eastbound on ramp 20 - 21 August
  • Eastbound lanes between Brigham Creek Road roundabout and Lincoln Road on ramp 20 - 21 August

UPPER HARBOUR HIGHWAY (SH18)

  • Westbound lanes between Hobsonville Road off ramp and Lincoln Road on ramp 20 – 21  August

SOUTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH20)

  • Massey Road northbound off ramp 22 August
  • SH20 southbound to SH20A westbound link 23 August (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • SH20 northbound to SH20A westbound link 23 August (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
