Auckland overnight motorway closures 23-27 August

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 8pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday 28 August.

Northern Motorway (SH1)

• Orewa northbound on ramp 23 August (approx 9pm to 12am)
• Orewa southbound on ramp 23 August (approx 12am to 5am)
• Tristram Avenue northbound off ramp 27 August
• Northcote Road northbound off ramp 26 August

Auckland Harbour Bridge (SH1)

• Shelly Beach Road off ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge southbound lanes one and two 23 - 27 August (approx 7.30pm - 5am)

Central Motorway Junction

• SH16 Port to SH1 southbound link 23 - 27 August

Southern Motorway (SH1)

• Southbound lanes between Gilles Avenue off ramp and St Marks Road on ramp 23 August (approx 11.30pm – 5.30am)
• St Marks Road southbound on ramp 25 - 27 August
• South Eastern Highway northbound on ramp 23 August
• Princes Street southbound on ramp 23 August
• Princes Street southbound off ramp 25 – 26 August
• Northbound lanes between Takanini off ramp and Manukau on ramp 24 – 25 August

Northwestern Motorway (SH16)

• Te Atatu Road eastbound on ramp 26 - 27 August

Southwestern Motorway (SH20)

• Neilson Street southbound off ramp 23 August
• Neilson Street northbound on ramp 24 August

Upper Harbour Highway (SH18)

• Eastbound lanes between Albany Highway and Paul Matthews Drive 23 August

State Highway 16 and 18

• All lanes between Royal Road, Don Buck Road and Oriel Avenue 23 August (approx 7pm to 5am) and 25 – 27 August
