Auckland overnight motorway closures 27 November - 3
December

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9:00 p.m. and finish at 5:00 a.m., unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 2 December.

NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)

  • Southbound lanes between Oteha Valley Road off ramp and Greville Road on ramp 30 November
  • Oteha Valley Road southbound on ramp 30 November
  • McClymonts Road southbound on ramp 30 November
  • Upper Harbour Highway southbound on ramp 27 November
  • Northbound lanes between Northcote Road off ramp and Tristram Avenue on ramp 1 December (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • Northcote Road northbound on ramp 30 November - 2 December

AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE (SH1)

  • Curran Street northbound on ramp 27 November - 1 December (approx 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • Shelly Beach Road southbound off ramp 29 November (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)

CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1 & SH16)

  • (SH1) Southbound lanes between Shelly Beach Road off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 30 November - 1 December (approx 11:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • (SH1) Southbound lanes between Fanshawe Street off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 27 - 28 November (approx 11:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • (SH1) Southbound lanes between Cook Street off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 29 November (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • (SH16) Grafton Road westbound off ramp 27 November
  • (SH16) Eastbound lanes between Nelson Street off ramp and Grafton Road on ramp 29 - 30 November
  • SH16 eastbound to SH1 southbound link 29 - 30 November
  • SH16 Port westbound to SH1 northbound link 29 - 30 November

SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)

  • Khyber Pass Road southbound on ramp 27 November
  • Northbound lanes between Market Road off ramp and Gillies Avenue on ramp 27 November - 1 December (approx 11:00p.m. to 5:30a.m.).
  • Princes Street southbound off ramp 29 November
  • Northbound lanes between Manukau off ramp and East Tamaki Road on ramp 27 - 28 November
  • SH20 southbound to SH1 northbound link 27 - 28 November
  • Manukau northbound on ramp 27 - 28 November
  • Te Irirangi Drive northbound on ramp 27 - 28 November
  • Southbound lanes between Manukau off ramp and Takanini on ramp 29 November - 1 December
  • Manukau southbound on ramp (to SH1) 29 November - 1 December

NORTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH16)

  • Eastbound lanes between Brigham Creek Road roundabout and Hobsonville Road on ramp 27 - 28 November (approx 8:00p.m. to 6:00a.m.)
  • Eastbound lanes between Brigham Creek Road roundabout and Lincoln Road on ramp 29 November (approx 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • SH18 westbound to SH16 eastbound link 29 November
  • Hobsonville Road eastbound on ramp 27 - 29 November (approx 8:00p.m. to 6:00a.m.)
  • Royal Road eastbound on ramp 29 November
  • Westbound lanes between Hobsonville Road off ramp and Brigham Creek Road roundabout 28 - 30 November (approx 8:00p.m. to 6:00a.m.)
  • Westbound lanes between Lincoln Road off and on ramp 28 November
  • Right turn restriction on Lincoln Road eastbound off ramp 27 November & 1 December
  • Lincoln Road eastbound on ramp 27 - 28 November & 1 December
  • Lincoln Road eastbound off ramp 27 November (subject to other work in the area - please check prior to travelling)
  • Newton Road on ramp westbound 27 November - 1 December

UPPER HARBOUR MOTORWAY (SH18)

  • Squadron Drive eastbound on ramp 29 November

SOUTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH20)

  • Neilson Street southbound off ramp 27 November
  • Southbound lanes between Lambie Drive off ramp and SH1 29 November - 1 December
  • Lambie Drive southbound on ramp 29 November - 1 December
