Auckland overnight motorway closures 30 October - 5 November

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9:00 p.m. and finish at 5:00 a.m., unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 4 November.

CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1 & SH16)

• (SH1) Southbound lanes between Fanshawe Street off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 30 October – 1 & 3 November (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• (SH1) Southbound lanes between Shelly Beach Road off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 2 November (approx 11:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• (SH1) Southbound lanes between Fanshawe Street off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 5 November (approx 10:30p.m. to 7:00a.m.)
• (SH1) Fanshawe Street northbound on ramp 30 October - 1 November
• (SH1) Northbound lanes between Nelson Street off ramp and Fanshawe Street on ramp 2 - 3 November (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• (SH16) Port to SH1 northbound link 2 - 3 November (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• (SH1) Fanshawe Street northbound on ramp 2 - 3 November (approx 12:00a.m. to 5:00a.m.)

SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)

• Gillies Avenue northbound on ramp 2 November (approx 4:00a.m. to 5:30a.m.)
• Right turn restriction on the Gillies Avenue southbound off ramp 31 October – 3 November
• Tecoma Street southbound on ramp 31 October

• Royal Road eastbound on ramp 30 October
• Lincoln Road eastbound off ramp 30 October & 2 November

• Eastbound lanes between New Ihumatao Road and Montgomerie Road 30 October (approx 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• Westbound lanes between Montgomerie Road and New Ihumatao Road 1 November
