Auckland Overnight Motorway Closures 5 October – 11
October 2014

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 10 October. Please note this Traffic Bulletin is updated every Friday.

 NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)

  • Northbound lanes between Oteha Valley Road off ramp and Oteha Valley Road on ramp, 9 October (approx.10:00p.m to 5:00a.m.)
  • Greville Road northbound off ramp, 5 - 9 October
  • Greville Road northbound on ramp, 5 - 11 October
  • Northcote Road southbound on ramp, 6 October
  • Southbound lanes between Northcote Road off ramp and Onewa Road on ramp, 6 October (approx 10:30p.m to 5:00a.m.)
  • Esmonde Road southbound on ramp, 6 October
  • Onewa Road northbound off ramp, 7 October
  • Stafford Road northbound off ramp, 5 October (approx. 5:00a.m to 10:00a.m.)
  • Curran Street northbound on ramp, 5 October (approx. 5:00a.m to 10:00a.m.)  

CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1 & SH16)

  • (SH1) Northbound lanes between Symonds Street off ramp and Fanshawe Street on ramp, 8 October (approx. 10:30p.m to 5:00a.m.)
  • (SH1) Wellington Street northbound on ramp, 8 October (approx. 8:00p.m to 5:00a.m.)
  • (SH1) Hobson Street southbound on ramp, 6 October (approx. 10:30p.m to 5:00a.m.)
  • (SH16) Hobson Street westbound on ramp, 9 October (approx. 10:00p.m to 5:00a.m.)
  • SH1 northbound to SH16 westbound link, 9 October
  • SH1 southbound to SH16 westbound link, 9 October
  • SH16 eastbound to SH1 northbound link, 8 October
  • SH16 eastbound to SH1 southbound link, 5 October

  • Lincoln Road eastbound on ramp, 5 - 7 October
  • Royal Road eastbound on ramp, 7 October
  • Hobsonville Road eastbound on ramp, 7 October
  • Eastbound lanes between Brigham Creek Road roundabout and Lincoln Road on ramp, 7 October

UPPER HARBOUR HIGHWAY (SH18)

  • SH18 westbound to SH16 eastbound link, 7 October
