Auckland overnight motorway closures 6 November - 12
November

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9:00 p.m. and finish at 5:00 a.m., unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 11 November 2011.

AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE (SH1)

  • Curran Street northbound on ramp 7 November (approx 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • Shelly Beach Road southbound off ramp 8 & 10 November (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • Shelly Beach Road southbound off ramp 11 - 12 November (approx 10:00p.m. to 7:00a.m.)

CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1 & SH16)

  • (SH1) Southbound lanes between Fanshawe Street off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 6 November (approx 9:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • (SH1) Fanshawe Street northbound on ramp 6 & 8 - 10 November (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • (SH1) Fanshawe Street southbound off ramp 7 November (approx 9:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • SH1 southbound to SH16 Port eastbound link closed at Wellesley Street eastbound off ramp 7 - 8 November
  • (SH1) Northbound lanes between Nelson Street off ramp and Fanshawe Street on ramp 7 & 10 November (approx 11:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • SH16 Port westbound to SH1 northbound link 7 & 10 November (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • SH16 eastbound to SH1 northbound link 7 & 10 November (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • (SH1) Southbound lanes between Fanshawe Street off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 9 November (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • (SH1) Symonds Street southbound on ramp 9 November (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • (SH1) Northbound lanes between Nelson Street off ramp and Fanshawe Street on ramp 11 - 12 November (approx 10:00p.m. to 7:00a.m.)

  • Northbound lanes between Market Road off ramp and Gillies Avenue on ramp 6 - 10 November (approx 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • Northbound lanes between Ellerslie-Panmure Highway off ramp and Greenlane on ramp 12 November (approx 12:00a.m. to 6:00a.m.)
  • Ellerslie-Panmure Highway northbound on ramp 12 November (approx 12:00a.m. to 6:00a.m.)
  • Southbound lanes between Manukau off ramp and Takanini on ramp 6 - 7 November
  • Manukau southbound on ramp 6 - 7 November
  • Southbound lanes between SH22/Drury off ramp and Ramarama on ramp 8 - 9 November
  • SH22/Drury southbound on ramp 8 - 9 November
  • Mill Road southbound on ramp 10 November
  • Beaver Road East southbound off ramp 10 November

NORTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH16)

  • Westbound lanes between Royal Road off ramp and Brigham Creek Road roundabout 8 - 10 November (approx 8:00p.m. to 6:00a.m.)
  • Lincoln Road westbound off ramp 6 - 7 November

UPPER HARBOUR MOTORWAY (SH18)

  • Westbound lanes between Albany Highway off ramp and Tauhinu Road on ramp 6 November (approx 8:00p.m. to 6:00a.m.)
  • Tauhinu Road eastbound off ramp 7 November (approx 8:00p.m. to 6:00a.m.)
  • Squadron Drive eastbound on ramp 10 November

SOUTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH20)

  • SH20 southbound to SH20A westbound link 9 November
  • Massey Road southbound on ramp 8 November
  • Northbound lanes between Cavendish Drive off ramp and Massey Road on ramp 7 November
  • Puhinui Road northbound on ramp 7 November
  • Northbound Service Road (Cavendish Drive to Puhinui Road) 7 November
  • Cavendish Drive northbound on ramp 7 November
  • Southbound lanes between Lambie Drive off ramp and SH1 6 - 8 November
  • Lambie Drive southbound on ramp 6 - 8 November

GEORGE BOLT MEMORIAL DRIVE (SH20A)

  • Westbound lanes between Montgomerie Road and New Ihumatao Road 6 November
