Auckland overnight motorway closures 9-14 May

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 8pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday 14 May.

Northern Motorway (SH1)

  • Northbound lanes between Oteha Valley Road off ramp and Silverdale on ramp 9 May (approx 11pm – 6am)
  • BP Dairy Flat Service Centre 9 May (approx 11pm – 6am)
  • Greville Road southbound off ramp 10 May
  • Northbound lanes between Greville Road off ramp and Oteha Valley Road on ramp 11 May

Auckland Harbour Bridge (SH1)

  • Shelly Beach Road off ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge southbound lanes one and two 9 - 13 May (approx 7.30pm - 5.30am)
  • Curran Street on ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge northbound lanes one and two 8 May (approx 7.30pm to 5.30am)
  • Curran Street on ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge northbound lanes one and two 10 - 13 May (approx 10pm to 3am)
  • Stafford Road northbound off ramp 10 May (approx 7.30pm – 5.30am)

Southern Motorway (SH1)

  • Gilles Avenue southbound off ramp 9 -13 May (approx 10pm – 5am)
  • St Marks southbound on ramp 11 - 12 May (approx 7pm – 5am)
  • St Marks southbound on ramp 14 May (from 9pm) – 17 May (to 5am) (24 hours)
  • Tecoma Street southbound off ramp 9 May (approx 8am – 6pm)
