NZ Transport Agency Chairman Michael Stiassny has announced an interim Chief Executive to replace outgoing Chief Executive Fergus Gammie.

From 14 January 2019, independent director and former Chorus CEO Mark Ratcliffe will step into an interim CEO role until a permanent Chief Executive is recruited and on board.

“Mark is a highly experienced CEO with considerable expertise in running critical national infrastructure. He was the CEO of Chorus from 2008 when it was part of Telecom and through its demerger, before leaving in 2017,” Mr Stiassny says.

The Transport Agency’s System Design and Delivery General Manager Brett Gliddon will be acting CEO from 1-13 January 2019.
