The details below outline the main planned state highway roadworks occurring in the greater Wellington region and the top of the South Island over the coming week (13 November 2022).

    • Upper Buller Gorge  - three nights, 14-16 November
    • Lower Buller Gorge – four nights, 16-19 November
    • The road will be closed from 10 pm to 6 am each night with an opening at 1 am to 1:30 am to allow traffic to pass.
