The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following overnight closures to move traffic to part of the new Rimu Road overbridge. Closures will take place on Wednesday 19 November from 7:30pm until 5am the following morning.

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following overnight closures to move traffic to part of the new Rimu Road overbridge. Closures will take place on Wednesday 19 November from 7:30pm until 5am the following morning. 

Southwestern Motorway (SH20) and local roads

  • Rimu Road northbound on-ramp
  • Mahunga Drive southbound off-ramp
  • Mahunga Drive/Rimu Road westbound between Miro Road and Coronation Road
  • Mahunga Drive/Rimu Road eastbound between Coronation Road and Rimu Road on-ramp

Contingency date: Thursday 20 November

Please follow the signposted detour routes via Walmsley Road or Coronation Road. The NZ Transport Agency thanks you for your co-operation during this work.
