SH2 Kairua Road ramps closed this week (Bay of Plenty)

|

The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists that the State Highway 2 (SH2) Kairua Road off and on ramps will be closed this week as work on the Tauranga Eastern Link (TEL) continues.

The off ramp closure, from SH2 on to Kairua Road, will be in place on Wednesday July 8, and the on ramp closure, from Kairua Road on to SH2, will be in place on Friday July 10.

These closures will be in place between the hours of 9am and 4pm, to allow contractors to lay the final road surface on SH2 as part of the TEL project.

Motorists are advised to use the alternative route via Welcome Bay Road during the closures.

The Transport Agency apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks motorists for their patience during the works.
