Short delays on SH1 between Tamahere and Cambridge this week

|

The NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists travelling on State Highway 1 between Tamahere and Cambridge to expect short delays over the next two nights while additional traffic management is installed on the route.

Contractors will be line marking in this area and fitting safety posts over the next two nights between 6pm and 5.30am.

Speed will be restricted to 30km/h and some stop/go traffic management will also be required.

The additional traffic management is being installed as part of the Cambridge section of the Waikato Expressway. The work is weather dependent.

The Transport Agency would like to remind motorists this area is a working site, as part of the construction of the expressway and extra care is needed when travelling through.

Once the additional traffic management is installed, the 80km/h speed restriction will remain in place.

The Transport Agency apologies for any inconvenience and thanks motorists for their patience during the works.
