The NZ Transport Agency’s maintenance team will be resealing the one-lane Wainihinihi Bridge at Turiwhate, half way between Jacksons and Kumara next week, weather permitting.

A crash between two cars this afternoon has affected State Highway 88 at St Leonards, Dunedin. A detour using local roads is available for cars/light vehicles, however, there is no alternate route for heavy vehicles.
The NZ Transport Agency reminds all drivers heading towards Aoraki/ Mt Cook this weekend to build in some extra time. There will be marathon runners and cyclists on this scenic highway both Saturday and Sunday, 8 am to 2 pm.
