NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) advises the southbound lane of State Highway 1 Western Hills Drive will be closed overnight between Kensington Ave and Central Ave for road resurfacing from this Thursday (17 October).
Motorists are being encouraged to take extra care if travelling on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this evening, with possible 90km/h west and south-west wind gusts between 8pm tonight and 10am tomorrow (Tuesday 15 October).

NZTA can confirm that one lane southbound is now open on State Highway 1 between Bombay and Ramarama. A temporary 50 km/h speed restriction is in place along this section.
As part of Stage 1A of the SH1 Papakura to Drury project, all new lanes on SH1 between Papakura interchange and the motorway service centre south of Park Estate Road bridge are now fully open.
