The NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists using SH5 between Napier and Taupo to expect delays of up to ten minutes to accommodate strengthening work on the Mohaka Bridge beginning today (February 25).
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 8pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday 4 March.

All road users are being advised by the NZ Transport Agency that unusually high tides for the Manukau and Waitemata Harbours occurring over the next week have the potential to flood parts of the Auckland motorway network. High tides of up to 3.6m are expected from Saturday 19 to Thursday 24 February.
