The NZ Transport Agency wishes to advise that, weather permitting, the following closures will take place on the Southwestern Motorway (SH20) next week.
The NZ Transport Agencys new southbound on-ramp bridge at Onewa Road and the final 890 metre section of the Northern Busway will open on Monday 15 September. The new bridge will take motorists from Onewa Road south onto the motorway towards Auckland City.

Auckland Harbour Bridge box girder strengthening starts this Sunday (3 August). The box girders (the two 'clip-on' lanes either side of the bridge) are being strengthened to enable the bridge to continue meeting the needs of the growing Auckland region.
