Minister of Transport Steven Joyce will officially open the Pyes Pa Bypass in Tauranga on Saturday (4 June) at 10am and the public is invited to come along and be among the first to cycle the new bypass before it opens to traffic.
The installation of a higher hand rail on the Hairini bridge finished last week means the Hairini Link Advanced Works project is now complete, says the NZ Transport Agency (NZTA).
