Work starts on Monday 10 March 2014 to replace worn sections of SH 1 on Cumberland Street in Dunedin, from Police Street through to the Andersons Bay Road traffic lights.
Motorists travelling along State Highway 2 (SH2) between Bell Road and Atuaroa Avenue north of Te Puke township are advised that road resurfacing will be undertaken over this section of road this coming weekend.
The night time works scheduled to start this Sunday (9 March) at the northern end of Te Puke township between Atuaroa Avenue and Oroua Street has been postponed and will instead take place in early April, says the Transport Agency.
As part of the New Zealand Transport Agency’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the State Highway network, road resurfacing works are being undertaken along a 1.2 km section of SH3 Ōhaupō Road starting at a point 100 metres north of Douch Rd and finishing 400 metres south of West Rd.
Motorists travelling along State Highway 2 (SH2) through Te Puke are advised that due to road resurfacing works being undertaken at the north end of Te Puke township between Atuaroa Avenue and Oroua Street, a stop/go manual traffic operation will be in place from this Sunday night, for a week.
Motorists travelling on State Highway 2 (SH2) south of Omokoroa and north of Te Puna next Monday are advised that a manual stop/go operation will periodically be in place from Monday for a couple of weeks to allow workers to replace a water-main on the Te Puna Stream Bridge.
