Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises multiple worksites are active on State Highway 30/Te Ngae Road, between Sala Street and Iles Road, in Rotorua next week, as part of the Eastern Corridor Stage One project.
UPDATE: The reference to ‘the entrance to Smart Environmental in Kopu’ in the traffic bulletin below should instead read ‘the entrance to Claymark in Kopu’. Additionally, both pieces of work will have a 30km/h temporary speed limit in place during the works, with a 50km/h temporary speed limit in place following the works, until the road markings have been reinstated. Waka Kotahi apologises for any confusion.
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is inviting businesses in Manawatū and Tararua to two procurement information sessions this month, to help put them in a strong position to bid for work on Te Ahu a Turanga: Manawatū Tararua Highway project.
Work is now underway to strengthen the resilience of State Highway 2 at Raupunga and Tahaenui Bridge, as part of a wider programme which aims to improve resilience and safety on the state highway network in the Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne regions.
