The NZ Transport Agency is inviting people in Marlborough to participate during a month-long period of public engagement kicking off today on a proposal to move State Highway 1 traffic to a new bridge over the Ōpaoa River.
The NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists that State Highway 1 (SH1) southbound from Ellerslie to South Eastern Arterial will be closed tonight (May 9) for emergency structural repairs, due to a digger hitting Penrose bridge.
The NZ Transport Agency is starting road works on State Highway 6, Gladstone Road, Richmond, between Oxford Street and McGlashen Avenue. The works are required to resurface the road, and will include upgrading a water main.
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 13 May 2016. Please note this Traffic Bulletin is updated every Friday.
