Waka Kotahi is asking motorists in the eastern Bay of Plenty to take care on the roads, with heavy rain closing a section of State Highway 30 between Western Drain Road and State Highway 2 (Awakeri), and parts of SH2 Waimana Gorge down to one lane due to slips and fallen trees.
