The NZ Transport Agency cautions drivers to expect delays as sections of the Auckland Harbour Bridge and Northern Motorway (State Highway 1) will be closed as part of the course for an international Ironman event next Sunday, 20 January.
The NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists to allow extra time for their journeys with delays likely to continue for southbound traffic on State Highway 1 between Paraparaumu and Paekakariki over the next few days, due to roadworks in Paekakariki.
State Highway 6 from Haast to Makarora has re-opened in the last hour and will remain open until 9pm. The road will be closed overnight, re-opening at 6am.
