People are advised to expect delays when travelling on State Highway 4 (SH4) north of the intersection with Hawken Road while important work is underway to repair an underslip, which occurred in November 2022 following heavy rain, and restore the road to two lanes.
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises that State Highway 1 (SH1) will close from 7am tomorrow, Thursday 6 July, around the side of Lake Taupō, to recover a logging truck that has gone over the edge at Te Pōporo (Bulli Point) this afternoon.
